This year’s annual construction law update will focus on selected aspects of project failures and available remedies – a topic that is particularly timely with the contraction of the surety market and ever-increasing complexity of projects being built.

The program will provide an overview from industry experts, exploring the causation of project failures and accidents; the forensic investigations involved in determining causation; tools av ailable to limit or transfer the risk of such defaults and how to insure/defend against such claims.

After the program, attendees will have a greater understanding of:

  • forensic investigations as to causation of construction failures and accidents;
  • pursuing and defending a surety bond claim;
  • contractor/subcontractor default insurance
