| Recent SJC Decisions: How they affect Employment Law Wednesday | October 13, 2004 | 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. Boston Bar Association Sponsored by the BBA Labor and Employment Law Section. Looking back over the last 12 months, the Supreme Judicial Court has issued several important decisions that have implications for the employment law practitioner. This program will focus on three of the SJC’s decisions: Goodridge v. Department of Public Health, Stonehill College v. MCAD, and Ocean Spray Cranberries, Inc. v. MCAD. Now that we all know what these three cases hold, we need to explore what impact, if any, they will or should have on the employment advice we provide to our clients and the way we prepare for and try our employment cases. This panel of experienced practitioners will share their thoughts on these three cases and discuss the impact they have had on the way attorneys are advising their clients and preparing for and trying their employment cases.
Panel Anne Josephson, Esq. Dahlia C. Rudavsky, Esq. Arthur G. Telegen, Esq. Robert D. Webb, Esq. Program Chair Justine H. Brousseau, Esq.
