This seminar is intended as an advanced workshop for experienced attorneys seeking to learn about the latest developments in health care fraud and compliance.

The program will include practical advice on how to respond to a grand jury or HHS administrative subpoena, and discussion of related privilege and internal fact gathering issues.

 Specific topics will include:

  • Application of the Stark Law to group practices
  • Changes in the laws and regulations governing hospitals and group practices
  • Responding to a Grand Jury or HHS Administrative Subpoena
  • Recent government enforcement actions in the area of pharmaceutical marketing, including fraud and abuse, and off-label marketing.
