Directors and Officers Insurance (D&O) has become a highly visible and important topic in the wake of increased securities regulation and corporate scandals.  This program will demystify the basic coverages available in a D&O policy, as well as provide some insight into the finer points one should consider when negotiating such a policy.  The program will also offer an overview of today’s D&O industry, in terms of the cost of insurance and the severity and frequency of claims the industry is handling.  Many of the concepts will be illustrated through real life claims scenarios.
