Criminal trials require skill, preparation and a sound tactical strategy.  This program, designed for all levels of criminal trial attorneys, will show attendees how to improve the critical skills needed to get results in the courtroom.

The panel, consisting of six of the city’s best criminal trial lawyers, will share some of the secrets of success at trial from their various perspectives as judge, defense attorney and prosecutor.  Attendees will learn effective ways to handle the most important events in a criminal trial, from opening statements to closing arguments, as well as practical and innovative ways to develop and execute a trial strategy.

The program will include a wide-ranging exploration of current issues and techniques in state and federal criminal trials, including

  • Developing innovative pretrial strategies
  • Keeping your skills transferable: what state practitioners need to know about federal trials and vice versa
