Identity Fraud, Computer Forensics, and E-discovery Wednesday, November 14, 2007 The ongoing technological revolution and ever-changing legal landscape continue to create new problems and challenges for lawyers and their clients. Identity fraud presents an enormous risk, not just to individual consumers, but increasingly to retailers, banks, and other companies that collect this information and are responsible for keeping it secure. With regard to computers, emerging technologies and vulnerabilities require that attorneys be prepared to address a myriad of legal issues related to electronically stored information.
