Current Issues in Privacy & Security Law for the Health Care and Financial Services Sectors Friday, October 24, 2008 The last few years have witnessed a dramatic increase in consumer concern about, and regulatory oversight of, how companies use and manage personal information. A panel of legal experts will discuss recent legal and regulatory developments concerning the treatment of health and financial services data, including increased focus on information security, fraud prevention, and incident detection, notification and auditing. And a panel of privacy and information security professionals will discuss how regulated entities are modifying their businesses and business practices to accommodate the evolving regulatory environment.
