Get connected to the hub of Boston Law

With roots that can be traced back to John Adams, the Boston Bar Association is over 12,000 members strong. The BBA is a leading and innovative voice in areas ranging from public policy and public service, to diversity and continuing legal education. The BBA’s New Lawyers Section, which is one of the most vibrant, fastest-growing groups in Boston’s legal community, offers skill building workshops, hosts social events, does community service and engages in public policy.

Meet those in the know

Our program faculty includes respected members of the judiciary, attorneys from firms of all sizes, government offices, and legal services organizations. The BBA’s program is co-sponsored by a diverse group of Bar Associations.

Experience a more personal program

Had enough of crowded lecture halls in law school? The BBA’s Boston programs will have no more than 60 attendees, so you can ask questions as well as get to know the faculty and your fellow new attorneys.

Engage, interact and share your insights

Two networking opportunities (a Community Lunch and post-program cocktail reception) will connect attendees with other new lawyers as well as established leaders in Boston legal community. The program will also keep attendees engaged and interacting through the use of an audience response system, which will be used for the ethics presentation.

Take advantage of convenient features

Our historic facility, located on Beacon Hill adjacent to the State House is accessible to a variety of public transportation options and parking. The BBA’s program is also affordable at only $35, and includes breakfast, lunch, AND a post-program networking reception where attendees can network with BBA Members and other new lawyers!
