Each year Governor Deval Patrick issues a proclamation naming October Pro Bono Month. At the Boston Bar Association, pro bono and public service activity is a priority, which is why we compiled a calendar (with help from our Boston Bar Foundation Grantees) of everything going on this October. October 30th

"Representing Unaccompanied Minors” - PAIR Pro Bono Attorney Training; 1:30-3:30 pm 
Lutheran Social Services is hosting a training at Mintz Levin that will focus on how to assist unaccompanied minors to gain protective status in the United States. PAIR is seeking pro bono attorneys to assist these children, and every pro bono attorney who takes a case through us will be matched with a mentor.  To register, please contact Amy Mercure, amercure@pairproject.org.

Boston Bar Association - Volunteer Lawyer Training & Reception: Representing a Pro Bono Debtor in Chapter 7 Bankruptcy; 3:30-6:00 pm
