The referral service is free. Your initial half-hour appointment with your attorney will cost no more than $25.00.

The Boston Bar Lawyer Referral has been a public service since 1950, and is the only lawyer referral service in Massachusetts to earn ABA approval. 

The Lawyer Referral Service member attorneys are in private practice and members of the Massachusetts Bar in good standing. They are registered with the Lawyer Referral Service in the areas of law they practice, and referrals are made on a rotating basis within those areas. We also seek to make referrals based upon your geographic needs.

When do I need an attorney?
