Christine G. Savage, chair of the
Healthcare Group at Choate, Hall & Stewart LLP, has been selected by
Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly as a "Top Woman of Law" for 2010 for outstanding
leadership, vision, passion, and advocacy in the healthcare industry. Ms.
Savage will be honored at a reception at the Westin Copley in Boston on December
3, 2010.
As chair of Choate’s well-recognized healthcare practice, Ms. Savage guides a
team of corporate, regulatory, and life sciences attorneys representing
healthcare providers and private equity firms, technology and science companies,
and investors on critical and cutting-edge legal issues. Ms. Savage also
maintains an active practice representing hospitals, hospices, and alternative
service providers in handling complex compliance and regulatory matters.
She has significant white collar defense experience in government healthcare
investigations, including cases brought under the False Claims Act and Federal
anti-kickback laws. Ms. Savage also is a member of Choate's Executive
Committee.

2002 and the Chair Elect of the Dean’s Advisory Board for the College of Social
and Behavioral Sciences at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.
Ms. Savage received her J.D, cum laude, from Harvard Law School in 1995 and
her B.S., cum laude, Harry S. Truman Scholar, from the University of
Massachusetts at Amherst in 1992.
