DLA Piper has announced that
Barbara Trachtenberg has received the Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW)
Network's "Top 20 Women Under 40" award, honoring the top women in commercial
real estate. Trachtenberg is a partner in DLA Piper’s Real Estate practice in
the Boston office and is a former president of New England Women in Real Estate
(NEWiRE), the local chapter of CREW Network.
Launched in association with the 20th anniversary of CREW Network in 2009,
this program recognizes the contributions to the field and professional
accomplishments of emerging women leaders under the age of 40. The announcement
was made at the 2010 CREW Network Convention and Marketplace on October 21 in
San Francisco.

professional work and leadership so it comes as no surprise that she has been
honored in this elite listing of real estate professionals,' said Jay Epstien,
chair of DLA Piper's US Real Estate practice. "She is a talented and dedicated

Trachtenberg focuses her practice on real estate conveyancing, development,
leasing and finance, including joint venture and mezzanine transactions. She has
represented regional and national owners and lenders in a broad variety of
commercial real estate transactions.
In 2007, Trachtenberg was one of only four lawyers named by the Boston
Business Journal to its "40 under 40" list, recognizing Greater Boston's next
generation of business leaders and innovators. She is also listed in Chambers
USA: America's Leading Lawyers for Business.
