Sugarman, a Massachusetts law firm based in Boston devoted to personal injury
and wrongful death claims, announced that David P. McCormack has been named its
newest partner effective January 2011.
Mr. McCormack is a 2000 graduate of
Providence College and a 2003 graduate of Boston University School of Law. Since
going to work for Sugarman directly out of law school in 2003, Mr. McCormack has
devoted his practice to representing individuals in personal injury and wrongful
death claims arising from defective consumer products, motor vehicles and
industrial equipment, medical negligence, construction site accidents and other
tort claims.
Senior partner Neil Sugarman, in announcing Mr. McCormack's partnership,
welcomed Mr. McCormack to the partnership and explained the reasons for the
firm's decision to name a new partner: "David was named a partner because our
clients deserve the experience, skill and work ethic that he has demonstrated
since coming to the firm, and we fully expect that he will continue to use these
traits to achieve the best results for them. We are fortunate and excited to
have him as a member of our team."
