Andrea Studley Knowles has been
elected a shareholder of Sugarman, Rogers, Barshak & Cohen, P.C., effective
January 1, 2011. Knowles joined the firm after practicing as an associate
in the litigation department of a Boston-based national law firm. She will
continue to focus her practice on product liability defense, business litigation
and employment law. She has extensive experience in product liability
matters representing national and international clients in the automotive and
power tool industries. In addition, she has handled a variety of contract
disputes on behalf of individuals and corporations, and has represented
individuals and management in a wide range of labor and employment matters.
Knowles currently serves on the Board of Editors of the Boston Bar
Journal. She has been recognized in Boston magazine as a Massachusetts
Super Lawyers "Rising Star" in the area of personal injury defense:
products. Knowles received her B.A from Boston College (magna cum laude,
Phi Beta Kappa), and her law degree from New York University School of
Law.
