Goodwin Procter LLP, a national Am Law 50 firm, has again been ranked as a
law firm leader in advising clients across a full range of equity and debt
capital markets transactions, including IPOs, equity offerings and preferred
stock offerings, according to Bloomberg’s 2010 Global League Adviser League
Tables.
Goodwin again placed in the Top 10 law firms for the Bloomberg rankings in
U.S. issuer and underwriter representation based on number of
transactions. For 2010, the firm tied for second place for issuer IPOs,
with seven deals. Goodwin was ranked sixth among all law firms for both
underwriter and issuer equity offerings, with 29 deals in U.S. equity offerings
on the manager adviser side and 19 deals in U.S. equity offerings on the issuer
side.
In addition, Goodwin tied for ninth in U.S. IPO underwriter representations,
tied for thirteenth in global equity offering underwriter representations and
tied for sixteenth in U.S. preferred stock offering underwriter
representations.
