Brown Rudnick, an international law
firm, has announced that Mary-Laura Greely has joined the Boston office as a
Partner in the Firm’s Corporate Department. Before joining Brown Rudnick, Ms.
Greely was a Partner at McDermott Will & Emery, and prior to that, was a
Partner at Mintz Levin where she was the Chairman of the Private Company
Practice Group.
Ms. Greely has over 20 years of sophisticated transactional experience in the
areas of mergers and acquisitions, venture capital and corporate finance,
private equity and general corporate representation. She counsels clients
in corporate growth and acquisition strategies, debt and equity financings,
corporate governance, employment and executive compensation and succession
planning matters. She represents clients in a wide range of industries
sectors including manufacturing, health care, information technology, financial
services and retail and consumer goods. In addition, she advises companies
in connection with their financing needs, and private equity companies on their
portfolio investments.
Ms. Greely's legal skills and accomplishments have been widely
recognized. She was selected for three consecutive years by Women’s
Business Boston as one of the "Top 10 Women Lawyers in Boston," and in 2010 was
recognized by Legal 500 as one of the leading lawyers in her field. In
2008, she was selected for the "Tech Dealmaker Award" by Mass High Tech, The
Journal of New England Technology and The Association for Corporate
Growth. Additionally, Ms. Greely was named by Lawdragon to the "500 New
Stars, New World Guide" (2006) and to the list of the "Top 500 Leading
Dealmakers in America" (2007).
