Attorneys from several Boston law firms, companies and government agencies
are collaborating to hold bone marrow drives at locations throughout
Boston. Getting listed on the bone marrow donor registry could help save
the life of an individual with Leukemia, Lymphoma or another blood cancer.
This drive is being organized in support of Jacob, a 15 year old student who
is the son of a member of the Boston Bar. Jacob has Leukemia.
Because of the generosity of those who registered before us, a bone marrow
transplant match has been found for Jacob. But many others -- now,
and in the future -- are in need of bone marrow match so that they can have
transplants to save their
lives.
Drives are scheduled on the following and are open to the public:
Feb 8, 10-2:30 – Nutter, McClennen & Fish, Seaport West, 2nd Floor
Feb 9, 10-2:30 – Ropes & Gray, Prudential Tower
Feb 11, 10-2:30 – Goodwin Procter, Exchange Place
Additional drives at Edwards, Angell Palmer & Dodge and the U.S.
Courthouse on Fan Pier on dates to be determined.
