The M. Ellen Carpenter Financial Literacy Program, a joint project of the BBA
and United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Massachusetts is set to
begin next week. Volunteers will instruct high school students through
modules about basic financial issues like personal finance and budgeting, using
credit, buying a car and the consequences associated with credit problems. The
Boston Bar Association thanks all the volunteers that have signed on to teach a
class.
