Last week marked the official kick off of the M. Ellen Carpenter Financial
Literacy Program. The first group of volunteers have visited high school
classrooms in Greater Boston and Worcester to lead sessions on Personal Finance
& Budgeting. This session includes discussions on shopping for
banks and debit cards, paychecks and taxes, completing a W-4 tax form, and the
importance of making choices in money management.
