As the program year winds down and summer approaches, many of our Sections are holding year end events, just a few examples being the Family Law Section End of Year Reception, Environmental Law Section End of Year Party,  and the Labor & Employment End of Year Party. After a rough winter, we know our members are getting excited for the summer months ahead, so we asked:

"What is one thing you are looking forward to this summer? "

If you would like to respond to a future Voices of the Bar, make sure you send a headshot, and contact Eric Fullerton at efullerton@bostonbar.org.

Mark Burak - Ogletree, Deakins, Nash, Smoak & Stewart
"While there are many things to look forward to this summer (great weather being one of them), the one thing I am most looking forward to (beyond spending time with my family) is riding in my second Pan Mass. Challenge.  The positive energy and dedication of the many riders and volunteers focusing on the one goal of finding a cure to cancer is incredible and it is thrilling to play a small part in it."

Hillary W. Steinbrook - Attorney at Law
"Boston is beautiful in the summer, and I am especially looking forward to July 4th celebrations in the city. Concerts on the Esplanade are festive, and the fireworks display is thrilling. However, it will be hard to top the fantastic fireworks show over the Charles River that I witnessed during MIT’s recent 150th  anniversary "Toast to Tech" gala."

Claire E. Koehler - Lee & Levine LLP
"I'm most looking forward to the Family Law Section End of Year Reception next Tuesday evening! It’s a great opportunity to connect with attorneys in the field and discuss recent court decisions and upcoming cases."

Shaun Khan - Attorney at Law
"I am looking forward to the Vancouver Canucks winning the Stanley Cup this summer. I realize this is a unpopular opinion amongst the Boston faithful, however, being born and raised in Vancouver I have Canuck blood running in my veins!"
