International law firm Nixon Peabody LLP has announced the arrival of
Jennifer Simon Lento. Ms Simon Lento joins the firm as an associate in the
Energy & Environmental Practice and will be based in Boston, MA. She was
previously with Obermayer Rebmann Maxwell & Hippel LLP in Philadelphia,
PA.
Jennifer helps clients comply with environmental laws and regulations
and handles environmental aspects of business transactions and energy
projects. Jennifer has experience in cutting edge ocean-based alternative
energy generation projects with an emphasis on state and federal permitting and
project strategy for offshore wind and hydrokinetic energy projects. She also
advises clients on project permitting and strategy as well as advocating for
clients in federal and state courts and before administrative agencies.
Jennifer earned her J.D. from the Rutgers School of Law where she was
the Managing Editor of the Journal of Law & Urban Policy. She graduated with
her B.A. from Sarah Lawrence College.
