Nixon Peabody LLP has announced the arrival of Carol H. Peters. Peters,
who will be based in the firm's Boston office, joins the Brands and Creations
practice as counsel. Prior to joining the firm, Peters was a senior patent and
trademark associate at Mintz Levin Cohn Ferris Glovsky and Popeo PC.
Peters focuses her practice on domestic and international trademark
prosecution and enforcement. She has extensive experience in handling trademark
portfolios and counsels clients in trademark selection and use. Her practice
also includes trademark enforcement and proceedings before the U.S. Trademark
Trial and Appeal Board. Additionally, Peters brings a wealth of experience
handling domestic and international patent prosecution and patent portfolio
management. She has also performed patent due diligence and rendered patent
infringement and validity opinions, and is involved in patent enforcement.

intellectual property issues; ones that are important to our clients," said

Peters is registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office
and is admitted to practice in Massachusetts. She earned her J.D. from Suffolk
University Law School and received her B.S. in Biology from University of
Massachusetts, Amherst.
