Barbara Berenson, Senior Attorney for the Supreme Judicial Court teamed up
with Massachusetts Appeals Court Judge R. Marc Kantrowitz to write Walking Tours
of Civil War Boston. The authors report that this guidebook, driven purely by
their fascination with the Civil War, was an extracurricular project done
outside of their regular work hours.
Commemorating the 150th Anniversary of the Civil War, the guidebook includes
detailed maps of four themed walks through neighborhoods of downtown
