The BBA's newly launched Military & Veterans Pro Bono Project has a new
brochure. Made possible by the Boston Bar Foundation's John A. Perkins
Fund*, the brochure was developed by the Delivery of Legal Services Sections
Active Duty Military, Family Members & Veterans Committee in cooperation
with Volunteer Lawyers Project (VLP), Legal Advocacy & Resource Center
(LARC) and Shelter Legal Services.
The brochure, which will be disseminated at Yellow
Ribbon events, highlights the dedicated Help Line. LARC operates this Help
Line and conducts intakes for the program. Callers are referred to VLP, Shelter
Legal Services and the BBA Lawyer Referral Service based on income
guidelines.
LARC & Shelter Legal Services are grantee organizations of the Boston Bar
Foundation, which works to enhance access to justice, promote innovation in
legal services and support the public interest activities of the bar.
* The BBF John A. Perkins Fund is used to publish significant articles,
reports and other materials related to law and the legal profession. To
