Last Sunday, the BBA Lawyer
Referral Service was well represented at the Chinatown Main Street Festival,
an annual Chinese cultural celebration organized by the Boston Main Streets
Program. Thousands of attendees explored Boston's Chinatown neighborhood, which
was filled with vendor booths, traditional Chinese dancers, and other cultural
performers.
Mary Lee, a bilingual attorney in Boston, MA who is a member of the BBA
Lawyer Referral Service and the BBA Real Estate Pro Bono Committee, attended the
festival with BBA staff to answer general legal questions from festival
attendees. The festival provided an excellent opportunity for BBA staff to talk
with members of the public about how to obtain a lawyer through the BBA Lawyer
Referral Service, the only ABA-approved lawyer referral service in the greater
Boston area.
