Attention new lawyers! Don't miss out on the opportunity to become involved
in the Boston Bar Association's Group Mentoring Program and become part of the
next generation of diverse leaders in Boston's legal community.
The program consists of several mentoring groups, each with 8 mentees lead by
2 experienced attorneys. The groups meet monthly for discussions about career
paths, work life balance issues and professional challenges. If you are an
up-and-coming lawyer who has been in practice for less than 8 years we encourage
you to participate.
Take it from past mentees:
"My mentors connected me with contacts I could speak with about furthering
my career. I am extraordinarily impressed and grateful for their sincere
devotion to the program."
"It is wonderful to have a group of individuals who are committed to
facilitating relationships with other members of the bar, and it has proved to
be a helpful forum to run ideas, concerns and questions by more senior
members."
"Joining the BBA Mentoring Program was one of the best decisions I've made
in my career. My mentors always made themselves available to lend an
ear, provide insight and give candid advice. Even when this
year's program comes to a close, I know that my mentoring group will
continue to stay in touch and support each other as much as possible."
The BBA is forming mentoring groups for the fall now. Contact Susan Helm at
617-778-1984 or shelm@bostonbar.org by
July 22nd if you would like to participate.
