On Thursday, July 21, 2011, the Asian American Lawyers of Massachusetts
(AALAM) held their Annual Summer Luncheon, with a twist. In addition to inviting
AALAM members, Summer associates and interns to mingle and network, staff
members from local APA community organizations were also invited to describe
their work and discuss how members could be more involved. In attendance were
representatives from the following organizations, who spoke to the crowd of over
60 attendees: Asian Community Development
Corporation, Asian Task Force Against Domestic
Violence ; Massachusetts Asian Pacific
Islanders (MAP) for Health, Boston Chinatown
Neighborhood Center; Ricesticks
and Tea Asian Food Pantry and the Asian Outreach Unit of Greater Boston Legal Services (GBLS). The event
was again generously hosted by Goodwin Procter at its Boston office. To view
