You may have noticed plywood on some of the windows at 16 Beacon Street.
Here's what's going on -- the Boston Bar Association is replacing the windows of
its Adams, Beacon & Foundation rooms to maximize energy efficiency and deal
with rotting wood frames. A re-manufacturer has removed the old windows and will
replace them with new windows that comply with requirements of the Beacon
Hill Architectural Association.
According to BBA Facilities Supervisor William Santry, this project is
expected to be completed by mid-August. Please pardon the BBA's appearance
during these renovations.
