On Friday, August 12th, the BBA will be holding its monthly Meet & Greet Luncheon, where BBA
members from any firm or section can come to meet new people or
catch up with old friends over lunch. This event got BBA Week curious where our
members go to lunch when they are not convening at the BBA, so we
are asking:
"What is your favorite lunch
destination in Boston?"
If you would like to respond to a future
Voices of the Bar, make sure you send
a headshot, and contact Eric Fullerton at efullerton@bostonbar.org. |

Catherine N. O'Donnell - Zelle McDonough
& Cohen LLP "My love of the California Burger
in Houston's (now Hillstones) is well known to my
coworkers. After the birth of my son, my two amazing
colleagues/friends persuaded Houston’s to prepare a take-out
order, rented a zip car, and arrived over to the Brigham &
Women’s with the best tasting burger ever!"

David Baker - Law Office of David
Baker "My office is across the intersection of
Mass and Huntington Avenues from Symphony Hall in
Boston. Directly across from Symphony Hall is Betty's
Wok and Noodle Restaurant. It serves an interesting
melange of Chinese and Latino dishes, such as Latino Fried
Rice, which comes with fried plantains! The lunch
specials average $10 and include non-alcoholic drinks with
free refills. The portions are plentiful. I try to
get there once a week, on the average."

Dr. Gaytri D. Kachroo - Kachroo Legal Services,
P.C. "I love to lunch at Radius in Boston.
Over the years I have grown to enjoy the gourmet aspects of
this establishment, its modern décor and local ingredients…
and more importantly the welcoming service of the staff.
Not only do they share the day's toil with camaraderie and
good humor, each member of the staff takes such pains with my
guests and myself that they assure our comfort. This
sounds like a recommendation and of course, it is. But
it is more than that. I generally enjoy any
establishment that serves quality food (or any product for
that matter) with the kind of care that is genuine,
thoughtful, measured, and thereby becomes part of the product
sold and thereby valuable."

Robert M. McGill - The McGill Law
Firm "On a sunny day, my favorite lunch spot is
sitting by the harbor on Long Wharf with a sandwich from
Chacarero watching the boats pass by. It's a nice change
of pace from the office."
