Lottery Commission Seeks Outside Counsel Expertise

The Massachusetts State Lottery Commission (the "Lottery") has issued a Request for Responses ("RFR") seeking qualification statements from recognized law firms and individual attorneys licensed to practice in Massachusetts and interested in providing outside counsel services for matters arising in the course of the Lottery's multifaceted business. 

It is the intent of the Lottery to establish a robust and diverse list of qualified law firms and individual attorneys, from which the Lottery may choose to retain on an as needed basis, to ensure transparency and rigorous competition in the Lottery's procurement of services. 

Specifically, the Lottery seeks counsel with expertise relating to, but not limited to, general business law, licensing and transactions; information technology, intellectual property law, commercial technology and trademark; internet & on-line gaming; employment and labor law; general litigation; and state and federal public law.
