Patricia Saint James has been
chosen by Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly as a Top Woman of Law for her exceptional
achievements as a lawyer. The award celebrates legal educators,
trailblazers and role models who have demonstrated outstanding accomplishments
in social justice, advocacy and business.
Pat joins an elite group of thirty-five women being honored at this event, a
total of only 119 women having been honored over the past three years. The
Top Women of Law awards ceremony will take place on Friday, September 23, 2011
at the Hynes Convention Center in Boston. Liz Walker, Boston media
personality and humanitarian, is this year's keynote speaker.
Pat's practice at Looney & Grossman involves complex litigation in the
area of domestic relations, including valuation of assets, custody disputes, tax
analysis and jurisdictional issues, as well as the drafting of divorce and
pre-nuptial agreements. Pat is a certified domestic relations mediator,
and utilizes her significant legal experience in both family law and complex
business transactions in her mediation practice, helping parties reach an
efficient and practical resolution to divorce proceedings, custody disputes,
paternity actions, modification proceedings, removal cases, same-sex marriage,
business valuations and partnership issues.
In addition to this honor, Pat has also been designated a "Super Lawyer" by
Boston Magazine, and a Readers' Choice Top 10 Lawyer by the Boston Women's
Business Journal. Pat is AV-rated® by the Martindale-Hubbell Legal
Directory, its highest rating for legal ability and professional ethics.
