Last Sunday, the BBA Lawyer
Referral Service joined an estimated crowd of over 100,000 attendees at the
Allston Village Street Fair. In its fifth year, this multicultural fair took
over a section of Harvard Avenue between Brighton Avenue and Cambridge Street
celebrating the area’s rich ethnic diversity. Ranging from families to students
to out-of-town visitors, fairgoers enjoyed the sights and sounds of local
musicians, emerging artists, and an assortment of vendors and community
organizations.
A few attorneys on the BBA Lawyer Referral Service also joined the BBA staff
at the fair to answer general legal questions from attendees. This event
provided an excellent opportunity for BBA staff to talk to members of the public
about how to obtain a lawyer from the BBA Lawyer Referral Service, the only
ABA-approved lawyer referral service in the greater Boston area.
