The BBA Task
Force on Environmental Sustainability, co-chaired by Michelle N. O’Brien, a
shareholder at Mackie Shea O’Brien, and Benjamin Ericson of the Massachusetts
Office of the Attorney General, today announced that it will launch a new blog,
“The Sustainable Lawyer” starting on Wednesday, November 16.
What can readers expect? Brief posts providing tips and best practices on
the greening of the legal profession, interviews with green mavens in law
offices and law firms, plus stories about opportunities to do green pro bono or
community service work, and accounts of lawyers in a variety of settings working
to reduce their carbon footprints and perhaps that of their clients.
As for any editorial leanings, this blog will focus on practical
solutions and welcome guest bloggers.
