Well,
it’s that time of year again. Thanksgiving is over and that familiar
music is being played at every department store. The holiday season
is here, and the BBA is gearing up for a slew of holiday parties
this December, including the Corporate Counsel Committee Holiday Networking
Event, Environmental Law Section Holiday Party, Intellectual Property Law Section Holiday
Reception, and New Lawyers Section Holiday Party. We know
the season can be stressful and hectic, but BBA Week is
trying to be positive, so we asked:
"What are you most looking forward to this
holiday season? "
If you would like to respond to a future Voices of
the Bar, make sure you
send a headshot, and contact Eric Fullerton at

Christine Hughes - Emerson
College "I have a wonderful new person in my life,
and I am most looking forward to blending my Christmas
traditions and rituals with his, creating new ones, and
figuring out whose angel goes on top of the tree. Come to
think of it, there’s no law against multiple angels atop a
single tree…"

Virginia Johnson – Prince
Lobel Tye "The best part of the holiday season is
spending time and celebrating with family and friends.
And I always look forward to my annual tradition of going to
the Holiday Pops concert at the BSO. I also get a lot of
joy out of trying to find the perfect gifts for my loved ones
(especially if I can find them online!). I’ll happily
indulge in some gingerbread eggnog, too. Tis the
season!"

Erica
Ferdinandi – Environmental Lawyer "Watching
National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation with eggnog
cordials."

Jeff Feuer - Goldstein and
Feuer "This holiday season I would like to see our
city and our courts recognize the legitimacy of Occupy Boston
and all of the social and economic injustices that it has
highlighted. A movement toward actually addressing the
problems of joblessness, homelessness, and lack of health care
faced by many citizens would be more in keeping with the
spirit of the holidays than any celebratory party."
