Established in 1993, the BBA Summer Jobs Program represents a partnership of
the BBA, the Boston Public Schools, and the Boston Private Industry Council. In
addition to working at a variety of legal venues, the students will participate
in the M. Ellen Carpenter Financial Literacy Program and attend interactive
seminars focusing on civics.
Of the 55 students starting work on June 28, 45 will be paid by law firms and
public and private legal departments; 10 will work in public interest settings,
thanks to a generous grant from the Boston Bar Foundation.
