For law firms and law offices -- both private and public sector -- the
Summer Jobs Program represents an opportunity to hire a Boston public high
school student for 8 weeks of employment. Conducted in partnership with the Boston Private Industry Council, the
program allows Boston Public School students to learn about the legal profession
through on-the-job experience, and aims to increase diversity and inclusion in
Boston’s legal community. Over the past 19 years, the BBA has introduced over
385 young adults to the legal profession.
We are calling on firms to make a pledge now to participate in the 2013
Summer Jobs Program.
To hire a student, or for more information on the program, please contact
Katie D'Angelo, Public Service Programs Coordinator at 617-778-1914 or kdangelo@bostonbar.org.
This program is funded in part by the Austin Jones Fund and the M. Ellen
Carpenter Fund of the Boston Bar Foundation.
