Original Justice is Sweet Chairs Return to Launch New Event - Passport to Pairings

Fasten your seatbelts, and put your tray tables in the upright position: the BBF’s newest event, Passport to Pairings is ready for takeoff. We’re going  to take you on a trip around the world to benefit public service -  at the event, guests will visit 7 food and drink pairings stations, each representing one of the several Public Service Projects that will be benefit from the event proceeds.

For the event’s maiden voyage, the BBF asked the original co-chairs of Justice is Sweet, Leiha Macauley (Day Pitney) and Chris Strang (Desmond, Strang & Scott) to take on roles as honorary co-chairs. The two will serve as motivators and advisors to the event co-chairs and committee and help steer this event to success:

“As inaugural Justice is Sweet co-chair, the event holds a special place in my heart, but I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to help rebrand it into such a new and exciting event,” Said Leiha. “Passport to Pairings will pair food, drinks and great people with the public service efforts of the Boston Bar Association. I can’t wait to get started!”

While implementing a completely new and innovative event is thrilling—what the Passport to Pairings crew is really ready for is the opportunity to have this event benefit Public Service, and affect countless lives in the city of Boston.

“It is always exciting to be involved with the planning of a new event, but this particular event is even more important because the funds will be used for public service activities.” said Chris. “The BBA/BBF supports many great public service programs, all of which use funds locally to strengthen our own communities. But of course, the event itself is also guaranteed to be a lot of fun.”
