BBA Welcomes Sheehan Phinney Bass + Green as Sponsor Firm

Sheehan Phinney Bass + Green, a firm celebrating its 75th year in business and its 10th year in downtown Boston, has become a BBA sponsor firm. In addition to the Boston office located at 255 State Street, the firm also has three New Hampshire locations.  Sheehan's 11 full time attorneys in Boston have already made an impact on the BBA.

"Sheehan's lawyers have been active with the BBA by serving on the BBA's governing council, as chair of the Boston Bar Journal Board of Editors, the BBA's Beacon Award nominating committee, and volunteering for our public service initiatives," said BBA President Lisa Goodheart. "We look forward to their continued active involvement with the BBA now that our partnership has become official."

Sheehan Phinney's attorneys have been recognized in Best Lawyers in America and New England Super Lawyers, and have been ranked among the top tiers in Chambers USA. In addition to its accomplishments for clients, Sheehan Phinney takes pride in community and charity involvement.  Every attorney in the Boston office volunteers time to local community organizations.

"Sheehan Phinney is committed to active involvement in the Boston legal community and is proud to become a BBA Sponsor Firm," said Maria E. Recalde, a Shareholder and Chair of the firm's Corporate Department." Our firm's core values of strict adherence to ethical business practices and commitment to pro bono work and community service are shared by the BBA, which makes a great partnership."

The Boston Bar Association traces its origins to meetings convened by John Adams, who provided pro bono representation to the British soldiers prosecuted for the Boston Massacre and went on to become the nation’s second president. Its mission is to advance the highest standards of excellence for the legal profession, facilitate access to justice, serve the community at large and promote diversity and inclusion.
