Pierce &
Mandell, P.C., a boutique firm focusing on health care, business litigation,
intellectual property and insurance defense law, has joined the Boston Bar
Association as a Sponsor
Firm. With 13 attorneys, Pierce & Mandell counts among its clients private companies large
and small, professional practices, non-profit organizations and individuals. The
firm, now located at 11 Beacon Street, was established in 1995 by Boston College
Law School alums Robert Pierce and William Mandell.
"The BBA is the preeminent organization for Boston lawyers, with a long
history of commitment to education and public service," said founding partner
William Mandell, a past chair of the Boston Bar Association Solo and Small Firm
Section and a current member of the Health Law Section Steering Committee. "We
share those values and look forward to taking an active role in the Association
as a sponsoring firm."
Nearly half of the firm's attorneys serve
on municipal or non-profit boards, and Pierce & Mandell supports the
Eddie Mandell Memorial Scholarship Fund, which awards annual college scholarships
to deserving Boston Public School graduates. Pierce & Mandell
attorneys also are active in educating the legal community and public by writing
scholarly articles for journals and other publications, as well as issuing regular
blogs on the firm’s website on legal issues of interest for its clients.
