Casner & Edwards Becomes a BBA Sponsor Firm

Casner & Edwards LLP, a law firm whose attorneys provide expertise and a wealth of experience in a broad range of practice areas, has become a Boston Bar Association sponsor firm.

"Casner & Edwards lawyers are a very welcome presence at the BBA," said BBA President Jack Regan. "We've seen their talents on display in the Tax Exempt Organizations, Business Law, Bankruptcy, Family Law, Tax, College and University and Health Law Sections, and we value their contributions."

A firm with a culture of fostering professional excellence and performing pro bono and community service, Casner & Edwards lawyers frequently speak at conferences, seminars and other programs, hold leadership positions in civic and charitable organizations and activities, and serve on local and state boards and commissions. Among Casner & Edwards lawyers who have held BBA leadership positions are Richard Allen, Robert Cowden, and John Morrier.

"Becoming a sponsor firm is a logical extension of our already significant involvement at the BBA," said Stephen M. Perry, Management Committee Chair, Casner & Edwards. "This action underscores our commitment to the BBA's mission of professional excellence, access to justice, and serving the community."

With the addition of Casner & Edwards, the BBA now has 66 sponsor firms.

The Boston Bar Association is a non-profit, voluntary membership organization of 12,000 attorneys drawn from private practice, corporations, government agencies, legal aid organizations, the courts, and law schools. It traces its origins to meetings convened by John Adams, the lawyer who provided pro bono representation to the British soldiers prosecuted for the Boston Massacre and went on to become the second president of the United States.
