Jack Connors, Jr. Will be Honored on 11-4

The John and Abigail Adams Benefit Ball, chaired by John D. Donovan, Jr. of Ropes & Gray LLP, will raise more than $600,000 this year, and is the Boston Bar Foundation’s (BBF) biggest fundraising event, as well as the premier charitable event of the Boston legal community.  The BBF is the philanthropic affiliate of the Boston Bar Association. 

Proceeds from the Adams Ball fund immediate grants to legal services organizations that provide critically needed civil legal aid to low income individuals and families and to underserved populations in the Greater Boston area. Grants are also made to programs that facilitate community service and pro bono activities by the legal community.

The BBF will bestow its 2006 Public Service Award on Jack Connors, Jr., Founding Partner and Chairman, Hill Holliday Connors & Cosmopulos, Inc. for a lifetime of outstanding achievement in civic leadership and philanthropy.
