BBA Welcomes New Chair of BBJ Board of Editors
Boston Bar Association President Tony Doniger today announced that he has named Donald R. Frederico, a shareholder at Greenberg Traurig, LLP, Chair of the Board of Editors of the Boston Bar Journal. He succeeds Christine M. Netski of Sugarman, Rogers, Barshak & Cohen.
“Don is a very talented lawyer with a solid record of fostering professional excellence,” said Doniger. “Every reader of the Boston Bar Journal will be the beneficiary of Don’s high standards and demonstrated commitment to publishing the timely and relevant articles that we have come to expect from the BBA’s flagship publication.”
A senior trial attorney with more than 25 years of trial and litigation experience, Don focuses on representing defendants in class actions and mass tort litigation in federal and state courts in Massachusetts and nationally . He frequently publishes and lectures before national and local bar and industry organizations on topics including class action practice.
Don has served on the Boston Bar Journal’s Board of Editors since 2004. The immediate past Treasurer of the BBA, he also chaired the BBA Nominating Committee in 2005. Don is also a past Co-Chair of the BBA Litigation Section, past Chair of the BBA’s Federal Practice and Procedure Committee, and the founder of the BBA Class Actions Committee. He is a Fellow of the Boston Bar Foundation.
Don clerked for the Honorable Joseph L. Tauro of the United States District Court in Massachusetts. He is a graduate of The College of Wooster (phi beta kappa), and Cornell Law School (cum laude).
