Boston Bar Association Honors Cecely Reardon
BOSTON -- The Boston Bar Association has announced that Cecely Reardon, a Supervising Attorney with Committee for Public Counsel Services’ Youth Advocacy Project, has won the BBA’s prestigious John G. Brooks Legal Services Award. That award was presented earlier this week at the BBA’s Annual Meeting Luncheon, where 1300 lawyers and judges were on hand to applaud her extraordinary accomplishments in providing legal services to low-income children.
A graduate of Boston College Law School who also holds a Masters in Social Work and B.A. from B.C., Cecely is an advocate for children facing delinquency and youthful offender charges. Known for her skill, dedication, and leadership, she has a reputation for giving tirelessly and endlessly of herself to her clients, their families, her colleagues, and the Juvenile Justice system itself.
According to one letter nominating Cecely for the Brooks Award, “not only is Cecely the ‘go to’ person for her colleagues in the defense bar, she is constantly sought out by judges, probation officers and community leaders for advice and assistance.”
