Boston Bar Mourns Passing of Judge Reginald Lindsay

BOSTON – After learning of the untimely passing of U.S. District Judge Reginald Lindsay, the Boston Bar Association issued the following statement:

“The Boston Bar Association mourns the passing of Judge Lindsay. He personified a steadfast willingness to listen, an uncommonly open mind, great clarity of thought, and a single-minded devotion to fairness. In his constant striving to ensure a just result, he manifested humility, compassion, and a profound humanity. Judge Lindsay had a passion for the intellectual pursuit of the law, and demonstrated an unwavering respect for litigants, witnesses, and jurors as well as a genuine faith in our system of justice. Judge Lindsay will be sorely missed.”

The Boston Bar Association honored Judge Lindsay in 1999 with a Citation of Judicial Excellence, and again in 2007.
