BBA Member on Supreme Court Stage

In what could prove to be a landmark case on global warming, the United States Supreme Court ruled 5-4 in favor of Massachusetts, 11 other states, and environmental groups that the Environmental Protection Agency is responsible for regulating greenhouse gasses as air pollutants under the Clean Air Act.  Litigating on behalf of the Commonwealth was James Milkey, former chair of the BBA Environmental Law Section.
