Nominating Committee Announces Slate Report of the Secretary on NominationsThe Nominating Committee of the Boston Bar Association, consisting of Ralph C. Martin, II (Chair), Denise J. Casper, William J. Leahy, Edward P. Leibensperger and Christine M. Netski, has made the following nominations to fill the vacancies in officer positions and on the Council that will exist on September 1, 2007. Officers nominated to serve a one-year term:
Article VIII, Section 1B of the by-laws provides that the Nominating Committee nominate not less than ten nor more than fourteen candidates to fill the positions of seven retiring Council members. Council nominees are:
Those persons continuing on the Council, in addition to the seven members who will be elected by ballot in the upcoming election, are: Mark M. Christopher, R.J. Cinquegrana, Lawrence M. Friedman, Laurie Flynn, Lisa C. Goodheart, Damon P. Hart, Brent L. Henry, Julia Huston, Robert H. Kelley, Nina J. Kimball, Samuel B. Moskowitz, Rebecca B. Ransom, Vivian Tseng, Charles E. Walker, Jr., and Mark J. Warner. In addition, Sandra L. Jesse will be serving as an ex-officio member of the Council in her capacity as President of the Boston Bar Foundation. Kathy B. Weinman |
