M. Ellen Carpenter Fund Provides Opportunities for Boston’s Youth Thanks to generous donations to the M. Ellen Carpenter Fund, the Boston Bar Foundation is proud to announce that it will sponsor 2 Boston public high school students in the Boston Bar Association Summer Jobs Program. The students will spend their summer working at the U.S. Bankruptcy Court and the Committee for Public Counsel Services* respectively. Established in 1993, the BBA Summer Jobs Program provides a racially and ethnically diverse group of students from public high schools in Boston with jobs in a professional working environment. The BBA Summer Jobs Program is a joint venture of the BBA, the City of Boston, the Boston School Department, and the Boston Private Industry Council.
