BBA and MBA Share Prestigious ABA Award When the American Bar Association Convenes its Annual Meeting in San Francisco this August, both the BBA and the MBA will be the joint recipients of the 2007 Harrison Tweed Award. According to a news release posted on the ABA's web site, the two bar associations are being recognized for their long standing commitment to the funding and provision of quality legal services to the poor in Massachusetts in both criminal and civil matters; the selection was made by the ABA Standing Committee on Legal Aid and Indigent Defendants and the National Legal Aid and Defender Association. |
