BBA Comments on Massachusetts Rule 1.14 Re: Client with Diminished Capacity In a letter to the SJC’s Standing Advisory Committee on the Rules of Professional Conduct, BBA President Jack Cinquegrana articulates the BBA’s position regarding proposed changes to Massachusetts Rule of Professional Conduct 1.14, which governs the ethical obligations of a lawyer where the client has diminished capacity.
