BBA CLE Supporting Pro Bono

Attend a BBA CLE and support pro bono!

On Thursday, November 8 at 4:00 p.m. the BBA is hosting a Trial Advocacy Training for Housing Court Cases.  Lawyers will develop practical and useful litigation and trial skills.  Those who wish to participate in pro bono representation through the Real Estate Sections Lawyer for the Day program can attend this program for Free!  

Next Tuesday, November 14 at 2:00 p.m., lawyers can learn about taking on pro bono Chapter 7 Bankruptcy cases.  There will be no charge for attorneys who wish to take on a case through the Volunteer Lawyers Project.

Next month, on Thursday, December 14 at 3:00 p.m., the BBA will hold a CLE on the options available to taxpayers faced with examinations and collections.   Attorneys who take on a case referral from Greater Boston Legal Services Low Income Taxpayers Clinic will receive free admission into the seminar. 

In the past, BBA Sections have sponsored pro bono CLE training programs on Children’s SSI issues, Tax Controversies, Unemployment Claims, and Limited Representation in the Probate Court.
